◈Features of CHROMagar
A medium for culturing microorganisms that acquires a characteristic color depending on the bacteria by the chromogen component in the medium.
Allows easy detection of a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms.
Moderate agar strength, so the medium is not easily torn when streaking and spreading.
Various types of antibiotic-resistant bacterial media are available, enabling the isolation of resistant bacteria and determination of antibiotic susceptibility simultaneously.
◈Advantages of CHROMagar

1. Provides accurate results
High selectivity and sensitivity reduce the high false positive and false negative rates of common selection media to provide accurate results.
2. Fast results
Due to the rapid growth of bacteria, results can be confirmed after only 18~24 hours of incubation.

  1. Easy to read results                                                                                                                                    Unlike common selection media, which change the color of the entire medium besides the colonies as the bacteria grow, CHROMagar’s medium is beige and only the colonies have their own color, making it easy to check the results.
